It appears that the seat, head light, and tail light are not original and possibly more parts. The kick starter feels like it is stuck but when in gear pushing the bike it acts like the motor is turning over. The throttle cable appears to be moving the slide in the carburetor. The transmission appears to shift in to gears fine. As you can see in the pics, it is in need of a total restoration. The owner implied that his father had bought this bike in 1950 from his grandfather who purchased it new the previous year. This motorcycle was recently purchased from an estate sale. This is a very cool estate sale barn find.
